Benassie’s ViralOff® Face Masks only need to be washed once per week or when visibly soiled.

We recommend wearing the mask for 6-7 days before washing it. The ViralOff® treatment lasts for 30+ washes, which gives you roughly 210 days of continuous usage. Afterwards, the antiviral and antibacterial performance lessens, however, the mask is still safe to use as physical barrier.

Absolutely! Even without filter the mask still has 2 layers of ViralOff® as well as 2 layers of microfiber material, which together act as physical barriers.
